Antares Hotel - Zermatt

The wellness spa, with a jacuzzi and sauna, is a perfect retreat after a day of outdoor activities. My room offered really good views of the Matterhorn that were nice.

The room decor could use some updating to enhance comfort and modernity.

I stayed here for a week of skiing, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the cable car station heading to the Matterhorn Glacier Express. The breakfast buffet had a great selection that really fueled my mornings on the slopes. After a day of skiing, the wellness room was an excellent way to unwind, with a jacuzzi and sauna to ease those tired muscles.

The view from the balcony was stunnig! the room lacked a modern touch.

Location for the lifts was simply perfect. The steam room and sauna fantastic, food great.

Some staff seemed to be having to bother and others simply went out their way.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. Also the hotel is 100m from the gondola up the mountain. Perfect location!

Amazing Matterhorn views from the room's balcony are lovely. Wellness facilities with jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room are perfect for post-ski relaxation.

The hotel feels outdated and in need of maintenance, with dirty bathrooms and insufficient lighting creating a less-than-ideal atmosphere. Breakfast options were limited and unappetizing, with cold coffee and stale pastries. Rooms can feel cramped, with some missing basic upkeep like broken fixtures.

We thoroughly enjoyed chic restaurant.

The view from my room's balcony was fine, but the room felt cramped and outdated.

Hostess was so warm. We were upgraded to a Mtn. facing room - The view from our room/balcony was incredible! Beautiful new bathroom entirely of Marble. Breakfast was good too.

Mattress sides were very weak, but ok for sleeping.

The hotel is located about 100 yards from the gondola - staff is very nice - breakfast was good

the rooms are very small - they have 2 twin beds pused togehter - if you book make sure you ask for a room facing the Materhorn I think those would be better.

How disappointing! The room was cramped and poorly lit, reminiscent of a dingy hostel. Breakfast? Cold coffee and stale pastries- revolting! I expected at least a complimentary gesture upon check-in, but i guess kindness isn't part of their package. Almost could've given this a good review, but alas, it's just not possible.

Very good hotel in Zermatt! The views to Matterhorn are the best, really fantastics, The owners are very friendly. The teleferico to Kelin Matterhorn is only a 50 metres. It's a perfect place to stay in Zermatt!!!

Good location by the mountains.

The hotel is old and the comfort is limited .The rooms are small.The mattress are old. This is not a 4 stars hotel.
